The Dunkirk Community also knows that growth is the future and have put the effort, time, and money into being prepared for industry to locate within the community. Recently the City of Dunkirk upgraded water and waste water service and added capacity to each to accommodate future growth. The City of Dunkirk is located on Indiana State Highway 167, which is close to Indiana State Highway 67, 26, and within 20 miles of Interstate I-69.
The City of Dunkirk is proud to boast a Grade “A” infrastructure. With recent multimillion dollar upgrades to both the water and waste water treatment plants, we have capacity for future growth.
The City of Dunkirk’s anchor industry is the Ardagh Glass Manufacturing Plant that produces over 3 million amber beer bottles a day. With accolades from the
Anheuser Busch for the Dunkirk Plants long neck glass bottle quality,
Dunkirk Plant hosts approximately 400 full time employees.
As a company, Ardagh has annual sales of about $5.4 billion. Customers include some already served by the Dunkirk plant, including AB InBev, parent company of Budweiser. Other Ardagh customers include Pernod, Heinz, Coca-Cola, Nestle, and Heineken.
Andersons Agriculture Group

The Andersons originated and is still headquartered in Maumee, Ohio. More than 65 years later, they operate over 40 grain elevators in 8 states, including Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Tennessee, Nebraska, and Texas with a total storage capacity of more than 160 million bushels. The Andersons Grain Group facilities, which include the City of Dunkirk location, accepts corn, soybean and wheat commodities. Within the last several years, they have acquired both food grade and non-food grade grain and agronomy facilities from the purchase of Green Plains Grain Company, Auburn Bean & Grain, and United Grain, which has allowed them to diversify their business unit into new territories in Tennessee, Iowa, Texas, and the central part of Michigan.

Mosey Manufacturing has four major plants ready to serve your custom machining requirements. Mosey Manufacturing employs over 300 highly skilled machinists and produce over a quarter of a million rings per day. Mosey Products are found in Fords, General Motors, Chryslers and Nissans.
